The Patrick Bradley Oncology Prize

This is a new prize of the European Laryngological Society honouring Professor Patrick Bradley. Patrick “Pat” Bradley has been the President of the European Laryngological Society and one of the most renowned Head and Neck Oncologists of his time.

The prize will be offered for the first time during biannual Congress of the Society and will be given to the best oral presentation at the Patrick Bradley Oncology Free Paper Session.

The prize will be given to the most outstanding free paper in the field on laryngeal cancer of that session either on of basic science or clinical research.

The Session will have two chairmen who will mark and adjudicate the prize.

The chairmen will be designated by the Congress Scientific Organising Committee and they will be clinicians with more than 5 years of recognised expert laryngology oncological practice.

The rest of the conditions of the price will mirror those of the Lichtenberger Prize.

The prize will be for €500.00 for ELSOC members and €250 with 2 years of free membership for non-ELSOC members. The prize will be presented during the General Assembly of the Congress and their name placed in the website.

The prize winner will be encouraged to submit his paper for publication at the European Archives of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology Head and Neck Surgery by the Presidential Council.
